Association of Bloggers (Singapore) Loses Another 2 3 Members

Association of Bloggers (Singapore) has lost another ~~two~~ three members. So now they are left with 3 2 members plus their president.

None of the committee members who have resigned, have voluntered any reasons as to why this happened. However, if you were to be so damned curious (some say bo liao) as to go and read the plurks of each individual committee member that has left thus far, you may come up with some interesting information. Here are some examples.

Timeline:

19 Jan 2009 – DK happily announces the birth of the Association of Bloggers (Singapore).
23 Jan 2009 – DK shares how it’s heart breaking to see his friends doing such ‘things’ and thanks his friends who use every single opportunity to mock at the Assocation of Bloggers for finally showing him their true colours. Interestingly, a little bird claims that “the PR was badly managed in the 1st place”.
30 Jan 2009 (9am) – DK steps down as VP-Membership of the Association of Bloggers (Signapore)
30 Jan 2009 (5:44pm) DaintyFlair steps down as Treasurer of the Association of Bloggers (Singapore)
31 Jan 2009 (3am) – Pacey steps down as Events Officer of the Association of Bloggers (Singapore)

Oh, and that damned official temporary Association of Bloggers (Singapore) website still has not been updated yet!!!

Very soon it will down to ECL meeting her own quorum to propose, second and pass the motion to rename to Association of Blogger (Singular).

I hope she remembers to collect her own $110.

heard abt the launch. Then in between. Heard nothing as travelling. Now in one blink more than 1/2 is gone? What happened? I heard it had something to do with ECL not issuing out an apology??? Now I there are even rumors circulating around saying a few gamers are going to put this girl up as some figure head as their de facto representative. She looks like an air head to me.

While I am not pro-ABS, I think the ex-members should be given some space to breathe. Need not go and dig out their plurks one right?

It’s pathetic that there are 3 committee members left in an Association. I knew it’s going to be a failure, but not to this extent.

Probably even the committee members knew it’s going to fail, but went on with the idea at first to sympatise with that President?

actually, i feel kinda sad for that bunch. kena bomb until like there is no tomorrow. a certain one/s has even made it into the top10 most hated blogger list..

perhaps most of them join for a good cause.. but for a certain one/s, i have my reservations..

This lass in dotseng. Seems to have a unusually large following in the gaming and cooking network. Thats strange for someone who does even cook or play games. Apart from that she looks like a great candidate/

Makes perfect sense for those boys to push a new face. Only this time since this girl looks like a female version of Darkness (really woman girl / man child like) . No one will say anything, even if he comes up with something really unbelievably dumb like, he once did, “we will rule the world..and all of you will help me…please” (eyes roll)
