Starhub Launches Mobile Phone TV
When I was a kid, my mom used to call the television the “idiot’s box” because it would rot my brains. And like any other kid, that made it apparent that I simply had to watch television until my eyes popped out of their sockets.
Fastforward 30 years later to present-day 2008. We’re still watching television but Starhub has now enabled us to watch it on our mobile phones via their “Starhub TV on Mobile” service.

All you need to do is download the “StarHub TV on Mobile” client (it’s a little program) downloaded onto your mobile phone and you will be able to :
1) Channel-surf easily with the user-friendly interface
2) Get program details with the on-screen TV guide
3) Sit back and enjoy the enhanced viewing experience, just like real TV
You’ll get to enjoy these channels with StarHub TV on Mobile:
Football Channels : Goal TV 1, Goal TV 2, Football Channel,
News Channels : CNN, CNBC, ChannelNewsAsia

Some obvious benefits that I see immediately are
1) The female of the species will soon be able bring their husbands/boyfriends out shopping. It’s not a bore any longer as the men will be able to watch TV on their mobile phones!
2) Your girlfriend/wife wants to watch Titanic yet again?! No problem, you just go ahead and watch a soccer game on your mobile phone while Leonardo sinks to his watery grave.
3) Your ipod allows you to listen to music anywhere. The DS and PSP allows you to game anywhere. Now you’ll be able to throw off the chains of your television and watch program anywhere on your mobile phone.
Hell, I can see myself doing all of the above and more. It’s definitely going to enhance the quality of my life.
