Like Kicking A Bear In The Nuts, And Then Running Away

I may be in a lot of trouble.
My boss called from Singapore today for a much delayed ‘chat’ that I’ve been requesting since last week to discuss some issues. As usual, despite being presented with the facts, he somehow totally misses the point of it all and rejects the options I’ve presented to him.
So I’m seething inside with the injustice at being treated like I don’t know what I’m talking about when I’m juggling 3 different jobs that involve managing thousands of folk. At the expense of my family time because I’m in China. And at the expense of my health with all the alcohol and crapfood used as emotional bandaids.
Then I snapped. I say that I, and I alone have to bear the consequences of his decisions (or indecisions) that totally ignore my advice. And I have to live with it, every day, all alone in China.
Man, that felt good.
Scary, but good.
