F&B Heroes Are Hiding Everywhere
If there’s one thing about Singaporeans and coffee - we prefer ours
served. It’s no fun having to pay premium prices for coffee and having
to fetch it yourself.
So maybe that’s where local franchise The Coffee Club Express has
succeeded. Its outlets are always packed with locals and expats alike
getting their caffeine fix.
Apart from the ambience which is particularly excellent at the Ngee
Ann City branch, the youthful staff are well mannered and always have
a smile on their face.
Today I find myself there. It’s a full house and the place is bustling
with the weekend crowd.
Although I have a little table to myself, I spot two friends standing
outside, probably window shopping. I quickly signal the manager and
ask if I can add another two chairs to my table.
He smiles and says ‘No, sorry sir’.
And then he adds on “What I can do is move you to the next empty table
that will fit all of you. In fact, there is a table right now”.
So this F n B hero saved the day for me and my friends!
