This is FragrancePrince. He is 24 years old, works in the military industry and enjoys chick flicks, fashion magazines and watersports.

Oh and FragrancePrince just posted a disgustingly degrading racist post on his blog.

Word has also gotten out on Tomorrow.sg – be sure to check out the comments.

Oh poor FragrancePrince, with all your self-professed ‘education’ and ‘motor mouth’ – don’t you know Singapore has laws against such blatant racism? And you’ve made it easier to find you since your blog is splattered with dozens of photos of your mug.

    Good luck!

    Update:
Post taken down, but you can find a copy of the post here.

The hardworking members of HWZ have reported this to the police.

He’s obviously a test model for helmets.

    It’s true.

Everytime I step into the MRT I feel compelled to sit on the floor and act like a weirdo. But then the urge goes away and I resume my normal thoughts of wanting to sell satay.

I’d really rather not use the law against him though, unless there’s a law against saying stupid shit on the internet (in which case we’d all probably be behind bars). To paraphrase the philosopher T, I don’t hate “FrangrancePrince” (seriously? pick a better nick) but I pity the fool.

Was it necessary to “call the police”? I agree that this guy should be shut down, and it is wrong that anyone would sponsor him. However, wouldn’t just notifying your blogger hordes and having them flag the blog as offensive have been enough?

reading his cache also makes me realise that he is terribly racist vs china-born people. Also insulted a woman to be “gang-raped” because *drumrolls* she took his table in the foodcourt.

Okayyyy…I don’t know which to be more freaked out about. A kid posting trash on their blog or the fact that he was ARRESTED for it. I know I know..it’s NOT ok to be doing that, not in the least but I didn’t know one can be arrested for that. wow.

i dont agree with what he said about malays. it’s wrong. but i dont see why the police should arrest him. it’s stupid of the sg govt to do things like this because i think there should be more freedom.

i firmly believe that if u dont like what u see, dnt read it. of course there’s a line to draw, and i certainly dont a line to be drawn here.

i dont understand y sg police is so free.

That’s because someone reported him. That offensive entry had been around for a couple of months. But it was only reported recently. And everything about him was dug up. His online profiles, friendster, photo albums etc have been reposted online for all to see. The blogsphere is vicious.
And the police only responded because there was a complaint. I’m sure there are many more offensive entries which go unreported.
