Dear God – Oh My God – My Sweet Lord

Dear God,
My girlfriend had an abortion last month. We talked about it, cried over it and came to a conclusion that its best we lose it. She was devastated after the ordeal as she felt she had lost a little part of herself during this incident. We are both young, desperately searching for better things in life. I am not financially stable or mentally ready to have a kid yet. I was told no one is ever ready.

So dear God, can you give me the courage to forgive myself, be a better man and move on?

Why didnt practice safe sex in the first place??

Accept that it was a mistake. If you keep trying to force yourself into the idea that it was ok, you will never feel better. And get help, people act like you get an abortion and its over and everything okay dokey, but many even commit suicide after a loss like that.

Safe sex doesnt always work, but no matter what people tell you abortion obviously isnt the solution. Talk to a doctor, because mentally, I belive abortion is completly unsafe. Im sorry, may God bless you and your child.

Dear Lord, you see the grief, the pain, and the anguish that this has brought about on this young man’s life. Thank you for promising that in the midst of his pain you will lift him up in joy. You say a broken and a contrite spirit you do not despise, but rather you love. I pray that Caleb sees your love in a new way Lord. May he have dreams and encounters with you like never before. Draw his attention to you deeper and deeper Lord Jesus. As deep calls to deep, so will his spirit cry out to you in the midst of his life. When he sees you I pray that he see’s himself in a new way………..in the way that you see him, and in the way you have ALWAYS loved him. As he realizes you are mending the hurt and pain and binding up his broken heart, he will begin to unwrap the truth as he digs deep into your word. Springs of living water will unleash the truth through the power of his name and your eyes will be open to see into the Kingdom of God. You will begin to see into the spirit as he reveals his heart, and his mind to you. Don’t give up Caleb…………know the TRUTH, and it SHALL set you free. It will take time, but Jesus is with you every step of the way. Call unto him as you have, and he will answer your plea.
