Profile: 35, Successful, Single, Lives With Parents

Lonelydude38: Hi

Lonelygirl25: Hi, a/s/l

Lonelydude38: 38/male/Singapore

Lonelygirl25: I like older guys. Where are you right now?

Lonelydude38: I’m at home. Bought one of those flats to live with my parents.

Lonelydude38: Hello?

Lonelydude38: Hello?

Lonelydude38: Are you still there?

HDB has introduced a higher CPF grant for singles who live with parents. Single Singaporeans aged 35 and above can get a CPF housing grant of S$11,000 to buy a HDB resale flat.

In other words, if you can’t get hitched by the time you’re 35 then you can decrease your chances of finding a mate even further by the fact that you’re living with your parents for good.

Hooray for the old folks, too bad about the declining birthrate though.

I guess 35 is the new expiry date.
