It’s Is Zeus’s Will That Cowboy Caleb Will Not Own An IPod

As a result of a minor car accident on last Friday, I kinda fell into a bad state of mind. It got even worse when I had to fork out 300 bucks to fix my car and wait 6 hours to collect it. To cheer me up, my wife said she would buy me an iPod because she knows I have been hankering for one for the longest time.

This is what transpired on Sunday.

5pm - refused to look at iPods because they were too expensive
6pm - went to collect my car
7pm - looked at iPods at Courts@Toa Payoh.
7.45pm - Dinner. Decided to get an iPod Touch.
8.45pm - Courts says they only have the iPod Classic in stock, WTF?
9pm - Drive to Junction 8 at Bishan. Got lost on the way.
10pm - Arrives at Causeway Point at Woodlands. All the shops are closed.
10.30pm - Minor argument because I refuse to drive to Mustafa’s which is to ofar.
11.30pm - Reach home and decide that I don’t want an iPod anymore.

I think Mandrake can LMD can testify to my amazing powers’s of procrastination and indeciveness when it comes to forking out anything above 400 bucks for a personal item.

iPods are everywhere. Go get yourself one so you’ll stop whining. ;p

Maybe you need some time out. Instead of an ipod, why not get a spa treatment, or go to some relaxing resort? Work tends to make people highly strung, so remember to take it easy.

I hadn’t realised the ceiling had increased to $400. You’re the one who insists on going all the way to Mustafa to buy groceries for $5.38 when you can easily get it at Cold Storage for $5.83.
