BLOGGER Jeff Ooi, 52, may be contesting in his first general election, but he’s far more well-known than more seasoned politicians. In fact, the opposition Democratic Action Party candidate and former business intelligence analyst is expected to win the Jelutong seat in Penang comfortably on March 8 and make Malaysian history as the first blogger to become an MP.

Now that Jeff Ooi has managed to raise RM85,000.00 in 11 days, it’s clear that he is going to give the ruling coalition in Malaysia the fight of their life.

If you get into Parliament, what will you be fighting for?

You see,we Penangites are not worried who will be the Chief Minister,all these while i was hoping that a malay would be made the Chiesf minister of Penang as Gerakan couldn’t fulfill our expectations.Anyway,now DAP-PKR has formed the new Penang state government and we Penangites are confident this DAP/PKR government of ours will outperform Gerakan/UMNO which has been existence for the past donkey years.
