Changi Terminal 3

Today I checked into my flight to China, at the new Changi Terminal 3. Apparently now all flights to rich and powerful countries now fly in and out of Terminal 3. The older Terminal 2 is only for poor third world nations and muslim countries. No shite - you can go check and see for yourself.

What struck me was how spectacularly lavish Terminal 3 was. Bigger, better, more comfortable but modern at the same time. When I went to the Krisflyer Gold Lounge, the guy in front of me asked how come this lounge was so much better than the old lounge at Terminal 2. And the response was

“Because the old lounge is maintained by SATS but this new lounge is operated by Singapore Airlines”.

The lounge has fantastic deco and more booze than most pubs.

Look at the photo above. See the green creeper plants covering the walls? The ones you spot immediately when you step into Terminal 3?

Behind those green vines, are toilets!

I had a pee, while looking out upon people saying their fond farewells.

wow! what an impressive view…seems like Changi is going all out to woo customers.

Ooh I never knew those were toilets! Should have brought my binoculars along when I went to send my bro off.
