It’s Almost 2008, Should We Continue Blogging?
There is a rumour going around that blogging is uncool again, because blogging is passe since every mother’s son has a blog. This is not true. Just because bloggers haven’t managed to change the face of the earth (eg. Bush is still in power) doesn’t mean that we haven’t succeded in doing anything to make the human race slightly better.
In 2008, I will have been a blogger for 6 years. Yes, I am an ancient dinosaur that continues to exist on the Intarwebs. There is not a single post that I have ever regreted writing. Not a single person that I have not enjoyed meeting through my blog. While there were heartaches, with them came a lot of joy as well.
My blog has made my life and the lives of my readers (I hope) much richer and interesting.
So I hope that you will continue to blog. If you used to blog, please revive your blog and start blogging again. Perhaps you don’t have a blog yet - start one.
Blog, because the beauty and passion around you needs to be recorded down.
Blog, because your life is worthy to be preserved digitally on the Intarwebs.
Blog, because you have no mouth but must scream.
