Both The Cancer And The Cure

This morning, I stood on my hotel room balcony and looked at the pool below. The water looked gorgeous as I gazed at it.

Too bad it’s friggin winter at the moment.

Like many things in (my) life, some things may seem like they are within reach, but are actually not. So close, yet so far away.

We only desire the things we can’t have. The moment we attain them, they cease to have any value or meaning.

I’d bet 50 bucks that if it were summer right now, I would not give a flying f87k about the pool.

Becoz if it were summer the pool would be overflowing with people, every seat would be taken, there’d be long lines for everything and the water white with sunscreen.

Actually, the Chinese are not really all that keen on swimming pools. It’s got something to do with bathing suits and modesty.
