Activate The Anger

Here is a list of things that are making me angry this week.

  1. Superiors from Corporate HQ with words like “Global” in their job title that refuse to play any role in Asia and pretend that their version of reality holds true.
  2. New ungrateful staff who don’t realize how much help I am giving them to help them get started in their new role; and even dare to say things to insult me over dinner that my pals of 10 years would not.
  3. Hostility and ill behavior from peers who seem think I report to them or owe them something although I do everything to make sure they have everything they need.
  4. My boss, who continues to see me as a threat to his position instead of an asset because since he can’t do his job then I do it for him without any complaints.
  5. Some members of my team, because they can’t control their emotions during meetings and lose control even though I have already instructed them to wear poker faces.
  6. Myself for being stupid and foolish enough to be exploited by everybody up and down the food chain, spending my own money on work expenses that will never be reimbursed and wasting time travelling on business instead of spending time with my family - knowing that I will never get any appreciation or recognition for my sacrifices.
  7. Myself again for not being able to finally finalize my resume and start looking for a new career elsewhere.

Nothing is fair.

If your peer never helps you, then screw them.

Do you think sometime you are overruled?

Hey sir…. I hear ya… enough is enough I can tell but you are to good an employee to let them suck the life out of you. Send me the current resume and a cover letter any time and I will review it. P.S. do look after yourself and your family first, nobody else at the company will do that for you!

the moment one writes much about work…means things are not working out. Perhaps you should rethink ur direction in life.

Look at me, im in no better position. What i lack is opportunities, that’s what you have now. Go get them! Do something u really want.

erm…that book cafe? :)
