Who is your favorite investment/business columnist/blogger/guru that you trust because they can think for themselves and teach and not follow the herd?

Let’s phrase it this way - assume you were making shitloads of money. Now would you waste your time writing a book / column, speaking on the seminar circuit or writing a blog teaching people how to make money? I think not - your time is more valuable than that because the opportunity cost of making money is too high.

However if the opportunity cost of making money is low, then of course you could teach other people how to make money. This is the old tried and true formula of selling books / giving seminars to other people desperate to make a quick buck themselves.

What I am trying to say is - beware of investment proffesionals. They might not have your best interests at heart. After all, have you ever seen those rich tycoons writing a tell-all guide on making money or even an investment column? Hehe …
