Math, I Suck At It

Here’s something about me – I really suck at math and fail to realize the consequences of my thoughtless financial decisions (usually impromptu). So on this occasion last week whilst in my China hotel room, I suddenly recalled at 10pm in the night that I had promised a dear friend to purchase some local fruit from China to bring home as a gift.

10 pounds of Lychees – 24 yuan
5 pounds of Longans- 12 yuan
Taxi to drive me from hotel to fruit market- 70 yuan
Realization at the actual cost of the fruit – priceless
