Appreciation Of Pron Was Not My Intention

Dear Ruok,

You will recall that earlier this year, I purchased a copy of Woman In The Dunes as a birthday gift to you. It had occured to me that you of all people would appreciate an ignored masterpiece of the Japanese persuasion.

You will also recall that you said to me the following day that all your friends upon glancing the cover of the aforementioned DVD, remarked that I had made a gift of “pron” to you!!! Pron indeed! This was probably in-line with your lecherous personae which we shall explore in detail at a later date.

To make a long story short, Roger Ebert (that oh so glorious god-like reviewer of films and purveyor of good taste) had also written a review on The Woman In The Dunes.

I hope this clears any doubt about my wish to impart an auteuristic appreciation of good films.

Otherwise, verily…screw you, asshat!

If the Woman In The Dunes is porn that must make Ingmar Bergmans Seventh Seal a snuff movie. They sound like the kind of people who would look at a womans clothing catalogue just for the middle-aged models in the bras and girdles section.
