Every day, I drive a minimum of 110 kilometers according to my car’s computer. And my car’s fuel efficiency is a dismal 8km/liter. So it’s really not cheap to drive a car in Singapore. I wouldn’t be doing it if I weren’t such a smug bastard. So how about the f87king roadtax which really isn’t very funny at all?

The gahmen really makes it easy to do car-related shite. Especially when it’s payment collection for car-related shite.

For an example, I received the email above and a similar sms today. The sms alerted me that my roadtax was up for renewal and the email provided me with a direct link to renew the aforementioned roadtax online. Online leh!!!

As long as one has a valid eNETS Virtual Card or a valid Internet Banking Account with DBS, UOB or Citibank (eNETS Debit), an adequate balance and payment limit for deduction of the fee / taxes - one can easily submit the payment online.

Note how many different modes of payment are provided - so wonderful!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and purchase a crate of instant noodles for the rest of my meals this month.

I am frikking broke also. Don’t say liao lah. :(

Actually the smug bastards are the ones like me who refuse to buy a car, then have a good laugh at suckers suffering with road tax, parking and other misc. car-related problems.
