Cowboy Lomo Homo Domo

In search of my lost creativity, I thought it might help if I purchased a Lomo camera and started shooting from the hip. So I made my way down to Objectif at Liang Seah street where I purchased an Actionsampler Flash for SGD106.
With one push of the shutter button, all four lenses fire in perfect synchronicity with the rapid-fire flash. Flash at night to reveal critical action at parties, concerts, and nocturnal events.
The result is as you see above and below. The camera is really really low-tech. It uses film (gasp!) and so it costs a bomb to develop & print. But each shot creates a mini movie with 4 frames. Each frame shows something slightly different. Time is frozen and captured eternal in my little lomo.
But I’m quite glad that I got it. It’s fun and doesn’t require any brainwork to compose a shot. The photos are frightfully fugly but that’s the charm of it. Conclusion: lomography rawks!
