Suddenly Realized

I’ve just realized that Mother’s Day must be a really depressing day for people with no mom.

And Father’s Day must be a real downer for people with no dad.

And for those people, plus orphans - Christmas, Deepaavali, Hari Raya etc… I can’t even imagine.

Here’s a big hug from me to all of you who are unluckier than the rest of us.

my mom passed away last year, august. although i still think about her every now and then, i know she’s happy where she is now, although we’re far apart. still, I don’t feel any bit unlucky about that… i’m happy that i had a mum like her, until the very last day that she left us.

actually this entry is sensible. an improvement over cynical stuff if you ask me. But its the cynical stuff which brings the traffic. :)

Aiyo, cowboy, EVERYONE has got a mom and dad. It’s just a matter of whether they know who their parents are (such as orphans) and if their parents are still around.

My mom’s no longer around, but I don’t feel “unlucky” in any way. I just miss her and wish she was here to share my happiness with me and meet her grandson… But then again, mummy not around means no one will nag me! :p

And finally I can understand what she meant all those years ago when she said she had suffered when she was having me… LOL. Ahhhh… the miraculous circle of life…
