Abortion Murders In China

At an abortion clinic in this seaside city, a young woman sat in the recovery room with an IV drip in one hand and a cellphone in the other. She was 22 and worked as a nurse. Her boyfriend, an information technology specialist, sat nearby. They both knew the routine: It was her second abortion in 18 months.
For better or worse, I am an avowed opponent of abortion. Screw pro-life choices, abortion is murder – pure and simple.
So when I read the “Face of Abortion in China: A Young, Single Woman”, it suddenly occured to me how true this is.
There are so many young men and women in China – immigrants from distant provinces working in cities. They must be having a lot of sex. Lots of it by the truckloads.
Remember this old post of mine that showed a leave form in China that included ‘Abortion Leave’?
Did you know that radio and television in China broadcast advertisements for ‘abortion clinics’?
Well, after having spent more time in China, I also note that you can even take leave to get an contraceptive IUD operation performed on you that includes the recovery time after the ops is performed. This is remarkable in a country that barely thinks anybody should be entitled to more than 10 days of annual leave.
