Going Native With Noodles

This a real honest to goodness La Mein (handmade noodles) shop located outside my office in China. A family of muslim chinese serve insanely delicious noodles that taste nothing like I’ve ever had in Singapore/Malaysia.
One guy massages the dough and creates the noodles while another dude cooks the soup at the back. I have my lunch here every other day because it beats the food they serve in my company’s canteen.
You can’t see it in this photo, but the shop is facing an disgustingly dirty and dusty street that’s strewn with garbage. The shop itself is none too clean (by our first world standards)
I seem to be able to consume the local food in China now. Used to be in the past that I had great difficulty.
I think I’m going native.
