Optimus Prime Rawks My World
As a kid, I eagerly awaited Monday from the age of 10 - 12 because my Transformers comic (the UK versionn) would arrive at my local MPH bookstore. My dad would drive me over at night, park at the side of the road and I would run in dressed only in my pyjamas to receive my precious copy.
In fact, I was such a loyal fan, I actually paid for the comic a month in advance just to make sure I always got my copy. Hell, I was such a HUGE Transformers fan, that I could recite almost every Autobot motto (not the Decepticons because being a little kid and therefore gay, I loathed the evil guys) by heart.
And yes, my mom threw all my comics away in case you’re wondering….I still cry softly into my pillow at night when I think about them.
I nearly creamed my pants when I found an invite from UIP (United International Pictures) to attend a sneak preview screening of the upcoming new Transformers movie! It’s only 22 min long, but it’s much better than not watching anything.
Anyway, this just arrived in the mail from UIP.
Paramount has just permissioned 3 more images for internet use with one (PL
110.09353.33) being an online exclusive. I’ve attached all three with this
email, please feel free to place them on your websites and blogs. Also created exclusively for online use are 2 TV Spots called “Hidden” and
Destiny” (both 30 secs). As many of you have previously cited bandwidth as
potential problem when you upload trailers and clips, we’ve taken the
liberty to upload the material onto our own site, which you can link to
instead:-
