Agagooga gets a brain transplant

Do any of you gentlefolk out there know Agagooga?

He is large, sports long hair and runs a wildly entertaining blog. In his sparetime, Agagooga raises the general intelligence of the singapore public by serving on a meta-blog called Tomorow.sg as an editor.

Yeah… so anyway, one of his pet peeves is getting all critical of religion. Some of his rants have been documented on my site, as I found them rather entertaining.

One day (actually last week), Cheryl Be Good - a self-professed Christian decided to do write about how much damage Agagooga was doing to Jesus’s reputation through his blog.

I want to bring to attention a character so lame and inane, with so much time on his hands probably because no one wants to go out with him, someone whose life is so devoid of joy, fulfilment, gratification and meaning that he has made it his personal mission to attack and discredit a religion of which he has no interest in.

Well, Cheryl - we all know Agagooga is fat and ugly. But that’s really how Jesus made him, right? Pointing out the obvious negative physical attributes is not explicitly forbidden in the bible but considered the kind of behavior displayed by the shallow girls portrated in “Mean Girls”.

I do not believe a person of his intellectual calibre and moral standing; or lack thereof will ever make it anywhere in life in any capacity.

Cheryl is really good at being mean. Would you react differently if Agagooga had been a bible-bashing intellectual tall handsome hunk with long hair?

Personally i feel googa is more human than some other out there.
He has an opinion, he voices it. Society is very much real. No point living it through rose tinted glasses.
As matter of fact, if one can’t walk the talk, then don’t talk the talk.
I don’t like going to some holy place and behave like another person altogether for the next few hours
for each weekend, and behave like another, rest of the week. :P

reading about a blog bashing about another. What i can deduce so
far, tat person might be dellusional, nasty, attracts lots flames. Zzz.

however… i think name-calling someone without proper reason within context is not what u may call a good discussion. i alw thought that christians are preached and taught by their “belief system” are supposed to be accepting crictique and that ppl are forever different and have different ideals. but not to demean them in any way coz ALL MEN ARE BROTHERS?

and who says atheists are not in any kind of belief system that got them to arrive to that sort of conclusion?

naeboo: if you didn’t read past the 2nd comment to read the “lovely” article your friend wrote to insult a faith that he doesn’t believe in, I don’t think you’re qualified to give an educated comment. As for my presumed place in heaven, no I don’t daydream about it “all day”. It appears I’m not the one fixated on an issue psychotically enough to chain himself to a PC and write anti-religious essays all day, as though he was doing it for a living. I live everyday of my life happily because I am immensely blessed by the God you detest so much (well, you don’t know me so…) plus I know my destiny on earth and after death. I hope you can sleep well with your own “presumptions” as well.

Also, it’s funny the uncivilised person mobilised everyone he knows to come here as a show of force. Thanks for the revelation.

sure, u are not “fixated enough” to chain urself to the pc to write a thesis on why we shldnt believe in god/christianity. but u r doing all this. this, being “generating hoohah over a disagreement over existence of a ’supernatural being’ by exhausting urself in terms of time and energy or money”. seems like almost the same thing to me. doh.

being a stauch christian does NOT give u a right to denounce other faiths. whether or not they believe in the system of god. it also does NOT make u RIGHT. it also does NOT make better than the rest of the populace.

if there’s a real god and u truly believe so, there’s really no need to try to defend it or bend ppl to ur side with all this dramatics.

becoz in the end, ppl will get it. (this applies in ALL situations)

plus, jesus being *such* a forgiving son of god, he’d forgive anyone who believes in him eventhough come judgement day, is it not? im sure he said it’s never too late to believe and to be forgiven of all ur sins.

That Cheryl Lim is a pot calling the kettle black. She spends all her time replying and monitoring and then deleting comments from those who don’t agree with her, even that Paul Tan guy or someone who spoke to her really nicely and patiently explaining that what she is doing is very unbecoming of a good Christian.

She defends her beliefs but she is NOT practising what it has been teaching her. So does that put her on a higher moral ground as compared to the very person she is condemning? I don’t think so!

She is acting just like those people who put Jesus on the cross - overly judgemental and extreme in defending her position and beliefs. If someone threatened her position and power to believe, she criminalises them and nails them straight out. No reason and defense works on her.

I think she is just using the excuse of Agagooga insulting her religion, to go against someone who is erm… big. Just an excuse for her so that she can make fat jokes on people without appearing shallow?

And the way she responds to detractors… It’s like she has no better reason so she goes into personal attacks like “loser etc”. Pfft. Sounds like a certain famoose blogger we all know.

Dude….just ignore those rants from her. They’re definitely not in the spirit of Christianity. Just cool it and let it slide. That’s always a way to cool things off. Some people can be so deluded about their intelligence that they mistake a dismissal of unworthy rubbish and a desire to infuriate a fool in question when in possession of the power to do so as arsenal so formidable that it’s a giant force to be reckoned with by deletion. Hahahaha!
