Petitioning Ye Gods Of The Middle Kingdom
Today I left for Hong Kong at 11am. This trip is different because I am travelling with one of my directors. There’s a mini-crisis brewing in the regional office in Hong Kong that threatens to be a major problem, so we’ve gone to try and defuse it.
Because we failed to secure a meeting with one of the ye eldritch gods in Hong Kong, we were forced to proceed directly to hotel from the airport instead of going to the office.
This entire afternoon till late evening saw me holed up in my director’s hotel room trying to come up with the perfect powerpoint presentation that can sway even a grumpy god.
I am really stressed. Since we failed to secure a meeting, we’re travelling by train into China tomorrow morning to try and meet another grumpy god.
Wonder what happens if we fail?
I already know the answer to that - my next destination is either Japan or the Phillipines.
