Whinings Of A Loser

Today, I woke up at 5am and made my way to the airport. There, I proceeded to purchase a copy of Esquire magazine and had breakfast at Burger King (Subway was closed). At 8am, I boarded the plane to Guangzhou. On the plane, I dozed off because I didnt get enough sleep the night before due to problems at work which I dealt with by waxing/polishing my car at 12 midnight. I woke up just in time to watch the hot Jap chick in Babel strip naked and offer herself to a policeman.
While my plane was landing at Guangzhou, an earthquake hit Indonesia again and tremors were felt in Singapore and Malaysia. But I didn’t really give a rat’s ass because for some reason, the temperate was 12 degrees instead of the predicted 25 degrees and I didn’t have any warm clothing on me or packed inside my luggage.
Then, I discover the transport to pick me up didn’t arrive so I had to pay RMB800 to take a taxi to my hotel, which was a 2 hour drive away.
It was so cold, I ventured out in a leather jacket for dinner only to give up and go back to my hotel. Strong winds in 10 degree temperatures are really so fun. So for dinner, I ordered room service but the pasta turned out to be so bad, I had to walk out again to get a cup of instant noodles from the convenience shop next to the hotel.
I’m not sure what’s going on today. I’m having a rather rotten day. It’s like I’m being punished for something.
Update!
Housekeeping just called to say that they can’t send over an iron and an ironing board - because they’re all out. So looks like the crumpled shirt and crumpled pants look is going to be so in tomorrow in the office.
