Black Pig Ramen Shop

I was back in Singapore for one night last weekend, and went for dinner with Ah 9 and Natsu, who recommended the Black Pig Ramen Shop located in the basment of Liang Court.

The cover of the menu clearly explains what the heow is a black pig.

Everything porkish in the shop, is made from the willing flesh of black pigs. Of course I know what you’re thinking…. black pork is like gross! But Natsu said the place got great reviews!

I took the Black Pig Ramen (highly recommended). And just to be sure, I ordered some Asahi beer plus plenty of Sashimi.

There were plenty of jap folks eating there, bearing testament to the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I rate this place so-so only. Nice environment and everything had a touch of authenticity…. but black pig tastes eerily exactly like normal pig!

Must be a bad pork day….as u said, usually heard good reviews bout them. Oh well, it was my first time there too. hehehehehe

Haha that place is called Tampopo! One of the best ramen in Singapore! Otherwise go to Miharu.
