Design Refresh

Some of my readers have noticed, that the design of my blog Gonzo Journal has changed. In fact, it changed several times yesterday. New templates being considered for my major refresh include Satori, Hemingway, WDA and Veryplaintxt 2.3 (currently the hot fav).

After returning from my blogging hiatus, it occured to me that I hadn’t grown as a blogger. While I’ve grown as a fully-fledged member of the human race, my blog failed to reflect that. I think I’m a much different person that I was when I first fired up my blogging noodles.

And you, my gentle readers - have probably grown with me. I do not attract a large and generic segment of the human stain. If you like reading the shite I write, then your noodles probably have the same flaws as me. So we’re all growing together.

So what I want is a more mature design. Something that says my age and state of mind. I’m no longer interested in the shell, I want to get to the yolk now. Forget the onions and give me the bacon. Less distracting peek-chures and more minimalistic text.

I may be abandoning a tried and proven formulae for something unproven. Life is full of surprises. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

New

1. My articles and Almost Daily Linkorama have separate RSS feeds.
2. Look to the sidebar on the right, my Almost Daily Linkorama will now be permanently there. It has its own RSS feed, so if you feel like skipping reading my drivel and just want the links - be my guest.
3. No more random header graphic.
4. More text, less design
5. Blog now cures myopia, gout and other aliments caused by excessive masturbation

Without offense and not wanting to sound like an asshole, (and if you care enough, that is), you don’t use ins element that way ;) Just sayin’.
