Actually, I think it was in the social studies book (in Pri Sch) instead of the history books.

I feel like a history nerd for being the only person who thinks my going to India in a few months will be a great thing because I’ll see “lots of ghats in Varanasi, and one of them will be for the dhobis“. And the other for cremating corpses. But anyway.

What Dhoby Ghaut means? I’m Malaysian. There are a lot of place here name Dhoby Ghaut or “Say Por Kiew”.
