If The Cat Murders The Mice, Who Cares What Colour It Is?

Pandion is an instant messaging client for XMPP and Jabber networks. Pandion is designed for usability and standards compliance. Because we think security is not a feature but a necessity, Pandion automatically encrypts your connection to XMPP servers.
I hate instant messaging clients. All they do is behave as attention thiefs. I don’t get much work done when I’m logged on and people keep messaging me all day long. This robs me of valuable productivity, because by the time I finish replying - I’d already forgotten what I was doing in the first place.
Oh and instant messaging clients are quite resource-intensive. If I have a 30MB excel document open and other misc programs running, an IM client really isnt critical if it causes my system to slow down.
Unfortunately these days due to time zone differences between other teams, I have to use instant messaging to communicate with people. Another reason is also when I don’t see them online, I assume they’re slacking off and start sending sms’s to checkup on them.
So these days I have switched over from Trillian, GAIM, MSN Messenger etc to a effective, plain and powerful software called Pandion. It does pretty much everything I need it to do, integrates google chat, MSN, ICQ and yahoo. Based on the jabber client, you can just add gmail addresses directly into it without any problems.
All chats are encrypted - excellent for people with nosey IT departments!
