My Sweet Valentine

So the flowers arrived on time. My wife was stuck in the office in the morning, and I was stuck in a conference call - which meant that I didn’t call the florist to instruct them not to deliver the flowers to her office. She was so delighted to receive them that she called me up to say how much she loved them.

Unfortunately, the florist forget to deliver the chocolates (did I mention chocolates?) and told my wife they would deliver them later. WTF?!! I am never going to order from that shop again.

My wife was so pleased that she actually came to pick me up after work. But I was so busy that she had to wait at the nearby mall until I was done. And I wasn’t done till around 8pm. So that kinda irritated her.

All the restaurants were ridiculously full. We couldn’t get a seat anywhere. So we ended up going home and having instant noodles for dinner. How sad is that? Hahaha. Oh, and the chocolates arrived at 9pm.

After I had a shower and got ready for bed, there was a small box waiting for me. Inside it was a gift from my wife - a watch. I kissed her and decided that it wasn’t such a bad Valentine’s day after all.
