Announcement: Cowboy Bar CNY Spring Cleaning Of Inactive Members

Hallo Everybody,

All Inactive users will be removed at Midnight 27th Jan 2006. By ‘inactive’, we mean members who have not posted a comment in the last 30 days. So if you or any of your friends have been reading but not posting, do post a quick ‘hello’ comment to avoid being ejected out of the Cowboy Bar.

Why are we doing this?
The Cowboy Bar is vibrant community - we are not interested in the number of members we have, instead we want everybody to participate and engage in lively hedonistic banter. So lurkers are not really very high on our desired list.

So remember, at midnight this Friday 27th Jan 2006 - all inactive members will be removed.

No, no, this is a long-standing policy. I got booted from the Bar many moons ago because I failed to delurk :P

I Tried applying for cowboy bar thrice and never got a reply at all…boohoo….

For all those who are interestedin applying, the Cowboy Bar has had a long standing policy of no lurkers. If you are in the bar, then please contribute. And we do not even ask for a lot of contribution, just a couple of golden peanuts……………….

OK kidding seriously, all you have to do is post ONCE in 30 days, and you will not get wiped.

In regards to joining the bar, you might not have gotten a reply due to not having keyed ina proper e-mail in the registration. Our main policy is that all we ask for is you explain to us how you found us, and even better still, if you have someone already in the barw ho can vouch for you. Thats all.
