Here Is The Itinerary
Dear All My Friends Attending My Wedding,
In case you were wondering about what’s going to happen, what time you need to take a bath etc.
Friday 6 Jan 2006 (The Day Before Tomorrow)
- Anytime after 3pm - Check into the hotel and call my hp to tell me you’ve arrived.
- 11pm’ish - Meet at the hotel pub (level 2) for drinks
- 1am - pub closes, everybody go to bed.
Saturday 7 Jan 2006 (The Main Event)
- 6am - Wake up and get ready.
- 7.30am - Meet in hotel carpark, tie wedding ribbons to all cars and then the convoy leaves to pick up the bride.
- 8pm - Reach bride’s house. Try to get her sista’s to open the door. Our gang must exercise ingenuity and courage. Airhole will be main wasabi-cake eater. Note that a light breakfast will be served here
- 9am - Bride must leave the house by 9am because that is the auspicious hour.
- 10am - Church service. Note: For those going directly to the church from the hotel, just ask the concierge to call you a cab if you don’t have transport.
- 11am - Church service ends, depart for my house for the tea ceremony. A lunch buffet will be served here. After that, you’re free for the rest of the day to play golf, go shopping or relax in the pool.
- 7pm - Cocktail reception in the garden and lounge. Champagne toasting at about 7.15pm. Don’t be late!!!
- 7.30pm - Wedding banquet begins. We’ll have fun fun fun till the end of the evening.
8 Jan 2006 - The Day After
- 9.30am - If you guys aren’t too sloshed, I’ll arrange for us to drive out for some good old Malaysian hawker food breakfast.
- 1.30pm - late checkout and time to go home
Now some stuff to note:
- The hotel does not offer wireless internet.
- Some of you may be assigned tasks on the wedding day. Failure is not an option. Ha. Ha.
- Ang Paus should be preferbly in Ringgit.
- Don’t wear black for the wedding service
- Tebrau City, a gigantic mall newly opened on the 4th of Jan, is just a 10 min drive away from the hotel.
- I am leaving for my honeymoon the day after my wedding. Kennysia will be guest blogging in my absence.
