Dear All My Friends Attending My Wedding,

In case you were wondering about what’s going to happen, what time you need to take a bath etc.

Friday 6 Jan 2006 (The Day Before Tomorrow)

    1. Anytime after 3pm - Check into the hotel and call my hp to tell me you’ve arrived.
    2. 11pm’ish - Meet at the hotel pub (level 2) for drinks
    3. 1am - pub closes, everybody go to bed.

Saturday 7 Jan 2006 (The Main Event)

    1. 6am - Wake up and get ready.
    2. 7.30am - Meet in hotel carpark, tie wedding ribbons to all cars and then the convoy leaves to pick up the bride.
    3. 8pm - Reach bride’s house. Try to get her sista’s to open the door. Our gang must exercise ingenuity and courage. Airhole will be main wasabi-cake eater. Note that a light breakfast will be served here
    4. 9am - Bride must leave the house by 9am because that is the auspicious hour.
    5. 10am - Church service. Note: For those going directly to the church from the hotel, just ask the concierge to call you a cab if you don’t have transport.
    6. 11am - Church service ends, depart for my house for the tea ceremony. A lunch buffet will be served here. After that, you’re free for the rest of the day to play golf, go shopping or relax in the pool.
    7. 7pm - Cocktail reception in the garden and lounge. Champagne toasting at about 7.15pm. Don’t be late!!!
    8. 7.30pm - Wedding banquet begins. We’ll have fun fun fun till the end of the evening.

    8 Jan 2006 - The Day After

    1. 9.30am - If you guys aren’t too sloshed, I’ll arrange for us to drive out for some good old Malaysian hawker food breakfast.
    2. 1.30pm - late checkout and time to go home

    Now some stuff to note:

    • The hotel does not offer wireless internet.
    • Some of you may be assigned tasks on the wedding day. Failure is not an option. Ha. Ha.
    • Ang Paus should be preferbly in Ringgit.
    • Don’t wear black for the wedding service
    • Tebrau City, a gigantic mall newly opened on the 4th of Jan, is just a 10 min drive away from the hotel.
    • I am leaving for my honeymoon the day after my wedding. Kennysia will be guest blogging in my absence.

    oh…a tip from me.
dont be a perfectionist n overplan things. Let things happen and just go with the flow. You’ll enjoy your wedding more that way. Dont panick or fuss if something didn’t happen as planned. Its normal and bound to happen. Just like mine where someone whom was assigned an important task was 1 hour late. *rolls eyes*
