Gmail Mobile Can Work Or Not?

I have absolutely zero interest in mobile phones. As long as the phone can take photos, send sms’s and has good reception, it’s all right in my books.

However, when Google announced the launch of a mobile version of Gmail, I got excited. You see, I can’t access my personal email accounts while in the office. So I only get to reply to my own mail late at night.

My ancient silly phone doesn’t support mobile gmail for some reason (I hear the browser is whacked). But after some research it turns out that I’m not the only one - Motorola users also have the same problem.

I found a solution - use Gmailwiressless.com instead. Works almost the same way and is fast.

If the phone has an email client, you could already set up POP3 access to Gmail all year - I’ve been doing it with mine. There are instructions in Gmail Help.
