Caught Between A Rock And A Hard Place

Some people emailed me and asked why I have not blogged about the 2005 Weblog Awards. The reason is simple.

Xiaxue, mr brown, miyagi and Simon World are all running for the Best Asian Blog category. All of them are my friends. All of them (except for Simon) are my colleagues at Tomorrow.sg. I have drank beer/wine with all of them. I read all of them.

I think all of them are excellent and represent the best that Asian blogs can offer.

To have to choose between each one of them is a painful choice. It’s like having to choose which kid to save from a building on fire. So I chose not to choose. Instead, I am supporting all of them.

All of you are winners in my eyes.

Update:
I sms’ed and offered a sure-fire plan for mr brown to catch up with xiaxue and win which involved him donning a pink tutu and swimming across the singapore river. Unfortunately the bugger cannot swim and polls have closed anyway.

So touching..

You traitor! You said you were going to support my campaign! Now I know why I am 3000 votes behind XX!

So instead of choosing which kid to save from the fire, you let us ALL burn?
