She Disarms Me With New Surprises Everyday

Oh yeah, so my wife calls me from the States. Somehow she has gone totally tech-savvy over there. The proof is in the fact that she actually bought a mike, downloaded Skype, paid for some Skype credit and called me using it all by herself. Amazing.

Even more amazing, she makes me buy a new laptop (apparently because I’m doing that writing and travelling thingy) so that when she gets home next week we’ll (read: she) have a laptop to use. The next thing I know I’m comparing the Inspiron 6000 from Dell Malaysia and Singapore (the Malaysian version comes with 1Gig of RAM and is RM45 cheaper) and end up buying it online.

Since when did she get so interested in technology?

At the moment, she’s at the beach with her colleagues watching a beached whale floundering in its death throes (die aminals, die!). I hope I can get her interested in posting her photos to Flickr later.

I also hope that f87king whale dies.

And why Dell? I don’t think they are the bestsellers of laptops. Not the sturdiest in the market if you are a road warrior.

Btw did you know by using italk IDD card calling the US is only 15cents a minute. Of course you will have to be in Malaysia to make the call using a telekom phone :-P
