MMS Maps
Streetdirectory, better known for sueing people that place copyrighted maps on their websites, and then winning aforementioned lawsuit (all the time!) has come up with a great idea.
I don’t know about you, but since I got an MMS-enabled phone, all I’ve been doing with it is sending shite pictures to my pals. Yes, dozens and dozens of juvenile photos of my friends in compromising positions have been whizzing about in cyberspace. What a f87king waste of money.
Now it’s actually possible to search for a location and have the map sent to your mobile phone via MMS. Of course this isn’t free (60 cents), but I think it’s worth paying for because
- men get lost all the time
- men refuse to ask for directions
- result: men are always late
So you can either search for a location (eg. Geylang Lorong 16) and when the map appears, you click on “SMS this map to your mobile phone”. Alternatively, if you’re already outside then you SMS
Sweet!
