Podcasting, Chao Ah Bengs and Life In General

Today was one of those days where life deals you a blow in the gonads. Soaked by a sudden downpour whilst crossing the road in the morning, mired in work up to my steel manberries all day and stressed by the fact the I had left my hp at home - an evening spent running at the stadium in pitch black darkness seemed to be a pretty good idea.
Unfortunately I had to go running with Johnny (of ‘Zhng my car’ fame), Celeste (an Ah Lian) and 50 Seng.
I knew I was in trouble when we went for dinner at a Teow Chew porridge shop. So cheena. So low crass.
Later Johnny mocked me again about the why-still-no-show? Luckily he and Celeste discovered they had a lot in common (bad english, bad taste in music, bad breath etc) and hit it off. They grooved to horrible tetno lance musik in the car. I think you will be seeing a lot more of Celeste in the future. Johnny thinks she’s the best thing since sliced bread Fire disco.
But after Celeste got out, Johnny decided to show me the extent to which his car was Zhng’ed by driving fast with the windows open and the music playing at ear-deafening volumes. Chao Ah Beng!
Johnny did recommend one local podcast for me to listen to (after swearing upside down that there would be no Ace-of-base type shite) and when I got home, I decided to give it a go. Not bad leh. Everybody go checkout Small Fry - a local podcaster that focuses on the local music scene.
