BlogsMalaysia Is Born

For the past few months, several prominent Malaysian bloggers have been laboring on a secret project. Now that they have finally finished, I would like to plug the fruit of their efforts - the birth of the premier Malaysian metablog - Blogsmalaysia.

It’s very much like Tomorrow.sg in execution (community contribution-driven, moderation by editors, etc) but focuses on the Malaysian Blogosphere instead. That means that it will be full of terribly interesting posts by Malaysian bloggers. The Malaysian blogosphere is a very different kettle of fish. It is huge, diverse, trilingual and not afraid to cover political issues.

I would also like to announce that I have been invited to join the BlogsMalaysia team as an editor, and that I have accepted this invitation. In case you didn’t know, I am (1) Malaysian and (2) an editor for Tomorrow.sg and so that’s why I was asked. It’s a great honor to work alongside bloggers I have admired and respected from a distance.

Hey, this is great news! I have checked out the site. Perhaps just a feedback - there’s no RSS feed? It will be easier for Bloglines user like me if there is.
