Software Review: Flock

Once upon a time, when the world was young (but not that young that dinosaurs still roamed the earth), a young student (me) sat down in the school computer lab after everybody else had gone home and was busy looking at pron being magically procured and rendered by something called a Web Browser that traversed the horrors of the Intarwebs in search of bits and pieces of nekkid women.

The little web browser that could, was named Netscape Navigator version 2.0

Since then, the forces of evil have been throwing multifarious browsers at us. For an instance, you have Netscape (nobody uses it anymore except geeks), Safari (apple cultists), Internet Explorer (people who unwittingly unleash the forces of chaos upon their pc’s), Opera (for people who can’t afford newer machines) and Firefox which by the way is frigging popular and my personal weapon of choice.

Enter Flock, the browser for Da Web 2.0.

Yup, agree. I like it, I think it has a lot of promise, but it needs tweaking and improvement. I still can’t get the blog editor to publish for me.

But yes, certainly worth a future peek, once they get the kinks ironed out.

It uses Gecko 1.7 right.

I’ll stick to my official FF builds. I can’t stand using outdated code - the only time I use branch builds is when they’re branching for a new release.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051020 Firefox/1.5

I use F/fox. This sounds interesting, but surely it’s sheep that come in flocks?
