Life Is Just So Good Right Now

You know what we’ve done? You know what awesome insane shit me and my american housemate have pulled off now?

We’ve taken a projector, hooked it up to a laptop and speakers in the hall and are now about to project every single friggin episode of Lost onto the wall at such a big ass size that the 400MB size of each episode is now appreciated and understood in the manner of a hindu guru attaining enlightenment.

The whole wall is now our cinema. Damn, we have a big ass television from this moment henceforth.

Why the hell didn’t we think of this earlier? What occult influence shaded our minds and eyes from this terribly rewarding enterprise? The quality of life just went up by one hundred f87king percent.

ngader > those projectors cost a bomb. and the light bulbs blow often and are costly to replace. I personally would not get one.

tym > price of admission is an interesting dvd so we can watch it together. lol.

maybe by the time i get an apt, the cost would have been lowered or a better alternative would be available.

:)

nothing like watching films on a big screen and a nice glass of wine.

But why Lost?

Why not “Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert”?

cc: expensive bulbs and projectors? I’m guessing with the money you save from downloading stuff instead of buying DVDs, it kinda evens things out. 8)

ngader: I am reminded of a scene in Cinema Paradiso, where the movie was projected on the wall of a nearby house, and everyone who was in the vincity was welcome to just to stand and watch, for free. Don’t ask me why, but it just came to mind.

diva: Why not indeed. While we are at it, why not Microcosmos? According to imdb, it’s “a documentary of insect life in meadows and ponds, using incredible close-ups, slow motion, and time-lapse photography”. No prizes for guessing what technique they used for the scene where two snails made out.
