Yesterday, I stumbed upon this RSS aggregator plugin for Wordpress.

Yesterday I found this amazing utility that hooks into Wordpress (the software we use for blogging) and sucks in feeds from other blogs to publish in its own super-blog. With great excitement, I told Mandrake, my partner in hedony and he got really aroused excited because he went ahead and installed it immediately.

So now Liquidblade.com also known as the abode demesne tribal grounds that-server-which-hosts-the-most-nefarious-blogs, has been transformed into a superblog that displays posts from all blogs that it is currently hosting.

I swear to you, I did not realize that when all our feeds get bunched together on one page - our name becomes Legion. The content and quality of the shite posted by Liquidblade bloggers is astoundingly good and hideous all at the same time. It is an exercise in pleasure and pain which you can check out here.

In other news, I got featured on Blogpulse because my post on Blogger for Word got ranked tops on their results.

Uh, can share where you got the plugin/software?? I’m interested!! looks funky!!

Cowboy, you are truly the cool Singapore writer. You need to write a book. Please consider it seriously. Since you got time to blog you can easily finish a book in … a few weeks. Especially if you give up reading “WORK” magazine.

Actually, I think he has the time to write a multi-book fantasy series like Robert Jordan, hahaha!

There one listed there are only some of what Liquidblade is hosting in total. I am slowly phasing them in to gauge the server load.

Its not fun when there is a sudden surge of RSS requests all at one time on the server.

Right now, updates are done every other hour.

Poked around with feedwordpress. REAL COOL. haha

Instead of using cron to refresh every other hour. You can just refresh once a night? and otherwise just ask all individual blogs to ping the feedwordpress blog? That wouldn’t give you a surge of rss requests.
