Movie Review: Primer

Is the pasta ready yet?

I first read about this movie here, and when I discovered that my local pirate had a copy in stock - I promptly bought it, drove home and watched it immediately. Some movies are like textbooks. You have to watch them a couple of times to really understand the heavy shite. And trust me, this movie is fucking plumbum when it comes to being heavy.

Sypnosis:
guys tinker in garage
guys invent some kind of time-machine
guys fuck with time
things get really weird

Primer is an indie movie that doesnt need any special effects to tell its tale. And the tale is a complicated one. I had to go here and here and here to understand confirm what the hell was going on. There are actually 3 timelines happening all at once and you have to watch out for clues. It’s a lot like that other mindfuck movie, Momento but a lot cleverer.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars.

I love complicated time travelling movies because stories like that have to be complicated or else they won’t make sense. I wonder if it’ll be showing here in Singapore.
