Oh blimey, have I sold out?

Well actually, yes and no. You see, Liquidblade - the server ran by my tribe have been hosted by various companies before. Nearly all of them gave us problems. You can read about the grief one particular company put us through here and here.

When we switched over to Poznet about a year ago, it seemed rather surreal. The dude that runs Poznet seems to be some sort of living undead zombie. He doesn’t require any sleep for we can reach him like 24×7. And he replies to our emails or IM in a couple of minutes. When he needs to reboot the server or do anything that may result in a disruption of our server uptime, he bothers to inform us in advance.

Disclaimer: In exchange for displaying the ad, we’re getting a 20% discount on our hosting plan. That however has no influence on our weapon of choice. We, the Liquidblade tribe eat our own dogfood. Poznet is good, therefore we recommend that you use Poznet as well.

So, I’m recommending Poznet to anybody who is thinking about getting their own domain name and hosting.

Referred by Mandrake, I’m using Poznet to host my company’s website too. I must say they gave GREAT help when I had trouble with my company’s email accounts after switching hosts from Pacnet to them.
