Anybody Wants To Start A Wiki For The SG Blogosphere?

Yesterday, Threez submitted an contribution to Tomorrow about Ho Yeow Sun not getting any loving from the local media. The interesting thing about this was that somebody left a comment with a link to Ho Yeow Sun’s wikipedia entry.

Basket, she’s got a wikipedia entry on her leh!

Would anybody like to start creating wikipedia entries on our local blogosphere? It would be nice to be able to lookup mrbrown and read historical ah kong blogging adventures in one summarized paragraph. That’s just an example.

What do you think?

That’s a good idea. We should also create one for mr m, and you too. As well as sandra and lim buey tor and makan g and *mumble* xiaxue.

Great idea… that would be a more democractic approach to covering the entire Singapore blogosphere, not just the Mr. Brown empire of popular bloggers.

Hm, I had gotten a little something started on my own blog. There’s not much on it now, but might be worth a look-over:

By the way, I think you ought to be more clear in differentiating Wikipedia from wiki.

airhole: wikipedia is that famous free encyclopedia that runs on a wiki format.. wiki is just the software that’s driving it.

cowboy: great idea, though i would say we extend it to include events (like the stick-out-tongue meme). i will be refreshing it to make sure nobody mentions Popagandhi’s name.
