Pope Blog

People ask me all the time what it’s like being the new pope. I tell them that it’s like any other new job, except I can’t retire or be fired at this one. And not only that, but I’m practically guaranteed to go to heaven when I die. So that’s a bonus.

+++++++++

My trip beings on May 29th, so I’m getting a luxury suite at a nearby hotel. But because of my celebrity status, I’m using a fake name. I know it’s breaking a commandment to lie, but what’s a Pope to do? I don’t want any trouble.

Ok whomever did this, you’re gonna burn in hell - you hear me? In the meantime, I’ll just read and enjoy it. Hahaha.

Whoever you are, it damned nice to hear that you are going to heaven (note the missing upper case in H? :)). Make sure you don’t lose your way there. Oops, telling a whaite lie is still a no-no. See? The Cowboy is already betting that you won’t get there lah… I’ll just keep my fingers crossed for you but sometimes they get itchy and I have to uncross them…

It’s a real blast, although I guess many Roman Catholics will fail to see the humour in it. I’m not sure where this dude will end up but his more recent posts are starting to get a little stale. I find it particularly amusing that he’s been going around and blessing blogs though. He’s a real nutcase hahaha!

Check out the article linked from my name (Pope & Hesse) to read a story of how the Pope and Hermann Hesse might have met!
