Tomorrow Begins Today

I am very happy to announce that as of Today, Tomorrow is officially launched and I’ve been invited to be an editor. This is a great honour and I’m definitely going to try my best to make sure that Tomorrow kicks the Straits Times ass is a great success.

Tomorrow is Singapore’s very own portal website blog version of Boing Boing, run by people living in Singapore for the rest of the world.

Anybody and their uncle can participate. Here’s how.

1. Go to the website and click on create new account (optional, you can go directly to step 2 if you wish to post anonymously)
2. Click on ‘Recommend Article’ in the menu on the upper right.
3. Type in the details of your post and submit it
4. That’s it! Your post will now enter a moderation queue where any of my fellow editors will review it before publishing it. This is required to ensure nobody posts offensive material or non-Sillypore related stuff.

So if you have just written a great post on your own blog, have an interesting story to share, found a great post on somebody else’s blog and it’s Sillypore related then post it on Tomorrow to get it out to the everybody.

Spread the word. Tomorrow begins today.

It’s Happening

The SG blogosphere has reached critical mass. We’re starting to form
collectives. There are now plans to further engage the masses in active
discourse about current events and affairs that affect us within the

Singaporeans are so bloody creative.

First there’s a tabloid newspaper called “Today”. And then there’s a blog portal called “Tomorrow”.

What next? A movie called “The Day After Tomorrow”?

when Dutch bloggers have Jaggle.nl, geenstijl.nl, and another versions of BoingBoing in each dutch cities, Singapore has Tomorrow! Success!! :)
