Richard Seah - Many Interests, Many Talents

I found a great website today via Agagooga’s latest post. It’s not really a blog, but rather an early form of an online journal-in-progress by a middle-aged man named Richard Seah.

Richard Seah describes himself on his website as a writer/journalist/editor, web designer, photographer, macrobiotics & natural health counsellor, natural foods cook, audiophile and high-end hifi dealer. When you go through his site, you discover the dude is not joking - he’s walks the walk and talks the talk.

I must admit also that I use it here mainly because I know the term “Backlane Prostitute” would attract you to read this story. And read this book.

Prostitutes seem to “sell their bodies for money”. What many of them actually do is sacrifice their bodies - and their dignity and ego - to help family members in financial need. In the process, they also help their clients release pent up sexual tension that causes great discomfort. Truly, they are heroines and martyres.

His website is filled with his articles and writings. One particular section enchanted me with the stark honesty that sprang from the words he wrote - The Enlightened Backlane Prostitute, a book(not published yet) that he is currently writing. Far from being filled with erotic tales, Richard creates little tales of humanity that seem to echo our thoughts and feelings.

Bravo. One of the best local websites that I’ve ever visited!
