Student injures ankle after jumping from 2nd-storey of school building

SINGAPORE : In a outburst of teenage foolishness, a Secondary 4 student jumped from the second-storey of his school building in Bedok. The rash act resulted in the 16-year-old from Bedok South Secondary injuring an ankle…..an action he regretted immediately.The school said the boy had a misunderstanding earlier with his schoolmates during recess. He got worked up when class resumed, and at the spur of the moment, took a leap.

What a brave boy. Jumping off from a ledge on the 2nd floor! Oh the courage he must have had! And all at the tender age of 16 years too! His parents and classmates must be patting him on the back! By golly he even made the national news too. They should feature him on that ‘Extraordinary People’ show on the television.

Thank goodness he lives in Singapore and not Malaysia. Malaysia does not tolerate pussy boys who jump from ledges after misunderstandings with their classmates. At least not pussies who jump from the 2nd floor and shame the entire school. If this had happened in a Malaysian school the sequence of events would have been:

1) Bring the boy to the hospital
2) Next day, public caning during school assembly after the national anthem
3) During recess, he wold have to wash the toilets
4) Followed by nightly psychosomatic sessions at the local witch doctor
5) Sub-daily beating ups by schoolmates because now they are all from a school of 2nd floor suicide pussies thanks to him

A decade ago, the s’pore kid would probably have suffered the same consequences as the m’sian kid.

Nowadays,.. kids are becoming too soft already.

although on one hand, people should find out why he wants to jump and help him.

he jumped because he was taunted / bullied by his friends Supposely … hence emotionally frustrated… cant do much.. so jump…
