Ways To Happy Up Oneself
After a particularly horrible horrible 14-hour day at work, I return home to find that the heater was broken which meant that I could not have a hot shower. This plunged me into a rotten mood. My personality was so vile, it meant that I would be hostile to any and all who came into contact with me. The prospect of having to wake up earlier tomorrow morning so I can go get a hot shower at my gym instead makes me kinda ill.
Luckily I had another korean movie on my computer to cheer my smelly old self up.

Attack The Gas Station is 1999 Korean movie which can be categorized as black comedy. The best way to describe it is as The Wonder Years meets Young & Dangerous.
A group of thugs decide to attack a gas station. In the process, they decide to run it. The manager and staff of the gas station are held hostage upstairs. Meanwhile, the thugs pump gas. In the process they
1) teach a spineless youth to standup for himself
2) beat up rival gangs
3) imprison difficult customers in the boot of a car
4) force gangsters to fight each other for their amusement
5) have flashbacks of their own troubled youth

The ending is totally awesome. They pour gas on two rival gangs and the police and threaten to set them on fire if they don’t kneel on their heads.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
