A Scary Episode

It was 5pm when the pain began. I had already been feeling unwell for several days but kept on chugging because of my tight schedule at work. At 5.30pm, the pain became intense and I phoned SD to come fetch me from my office to bring me to a clinic.

As I waited for them to arrive in my office lobby, the fever began. I slipped in and out of consciousness. When they arrived, I crawled into the car. I had to see a company panel clinic doctor and the nearest one that was open was in Bishan. So we had to drive all the way there. When we finally arrived (bad traffic), I was already delirious because of the fever and pain. I limped into the clinic.

The nurse let me in to see the doctor when she saw the state I was in. The doctor decided to give me a shot of antibiotics via a jab. Nothing prepared me for the pain. He gave me 2 shots with a particularly potent antibiotic. It felt like he had pumped some acid into my bum. I started moaning fucckkk that hurts arrghghghg arrghhghg and clawed whatever object was in the vicinity. He let me lie down there for what seemed to be an eternity as my body went into shock from the pain. I begged for some pain killers to which he obliged and gulped them down.

The pain didnt go away - but I wanted to go home and lie down. But I discovered that my entire left leg had gone numb from the injection and I could not limp on my hurt right leg. So I hobbled out using a chair. SD parked the car outside behind the clinic so I would not have to walk far. The nurse gave me 2 packets of biscuits to eat because the painkillers were very very strong and might burn my stomache walls.

Mandrake lent me his shoulder as I painfully made my way to the car. SD then drove to the chinese hawker near my house for some takeway dinner for me. Then they helped me up to my apartment.

Guys, thanks for all your help. I don’t know what I would have done if you were not there. I might have passed out from the pain on the way home from the clinic. Now I am safe and sound at home with a warm dinner in my belly. You guys are my true brothers.
